In The Flow: Finding Peace Through Groundlessness
Everything is in constant motion,
And nothing stays the same,
No matter how much we want things to.
The wave never returns to the ocean
In the same shape or state.
The birds fly away once they grow,
Leaving family and meeting the unknown.
Even the trees, deeply rooted in the earth,
Shed their leaves in autumn,
Only to sprout new ones when the seasons change.
Nothing in nature stays still —
Each moment, each breath is an evolution.
And in this constant transformation,
We witness the beauty of impermanence.
Embracing groundlessness —
Accepting the absence of solid ground —
Is the only thing that can bring us
The deepest sense of peace.
Clinging to the way things have always been
Is the very cause of pain.
We resist change and refuse to see that
Change is the only certainty in life.
This moment shall pass,
And so will the next,
And the very next.
